Major campaign issue: "The town's budget is the issue today. With help from other board members and valuable input from the taxpayers, I vow to evaluate the cost effectiveness of all town expenditures. I will bring a positive, businesslike mindset to the board and always be prepared to run straightforward, efficient town meetings."

Elected posts: Milton town chairman, 2005-09.

Major campaign issue: "We're finishing up the Smart Growth plan. We're approaching the middle of intergovernmental/boundary agreement discussions with the city. Other major issues include addressing the Milton Joint Fire Station and road maintenance."
