‘Meet the Snappers Night’ is April 7

— The annual “Meet the Snappers Night” is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7. The annual team meet and greet will take place at a new location—Beloit Memorial High School—1225 Fourth Street in Beloit.

Tickets are $5, with ages 4 and under free. Tickets can be purchased through the Snappers either by phone or at the Snappers Administrative Offices located at 2301 Skyline Drive in Beloit.

Fans attending the event will be served a menu of ballpark food. They will also have the opportunity to meet the 2009 Snappers and get a chance to purchase new merchandise for the upcoming season. Players, coaches and front office staff will sign autographs and answer questions. Team mascot Snappy D. Turtle will be on hand to entertain the crowd. A silent auction of assorted baseball memorabilia will also be set up for fans to bid on.

Fans may use the high school’s main parking lot and enter the building through the main entrance with the Beloit Memorial High School sign above it. Once inside the building go straight ahead, down the stairs and to your right in to the cafeteria.

The Snappers open the 2009 season on the road at Cedar Rapids on Thursday, April 9. The home opener will take place at Pohlman Field at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 16 as the Snappers take on the Burlington Bees.30pm
