Beloit's new library is almost complete

Beloit's Library Director has plans for wallpapering the soon to be old library.

Library Director Dan Zack says the new $1.8 million dollar facility opens at 605 Eclipse Boulevard in five weeks. Zack is calling attention to a "help us open the doors" fundraiser underway for small donors to participate. He says the library fundraising steering committee has been targeting foundations, businesses, and individuals with the ability to donate large sums for the majority of the cost. Any individual who wants to help though, can pick up a donor sheet at the circculation desk. Zack is hoping to plaster the old librarywalls with donor sheets.

The old library is slated to close in less than two weeks.
