-- RACHEL A. DUFOE, 22, of Rochelle, Ill., at 10 p.m. Thursday at Oakhill Avenue and West Memorial Drive on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.

-- CAMERON J. PETERSON, 17, of 2107 S. Terrace St., Janesville, at 4 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Holmes Street on charges of conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school. Also arrested in the same incident was JESSE J. SEALES, 25, no fixed address, on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin near certain places, conspiracy to distribute heroin, probation hold and possession of drug paraphernalia.

-- KEVIN R. HEMERLEY, 22, no fixed addressed, at 6:41 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Main Street, Janesville, on a bench warrant charging him for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second degree sexual assault of a child. A teenage girl told police he had sex with her at her home. Hemerley admitted to having sex with her, according to a criminal complaint filed in February.


-- SUBSTANTIAL BATTERY at 7:16 p.m. Thursday on County D, Afton. A 47-year-old man was involved in a fight with an 18-year-old male that he knew. The victim was treated and released from Mercy Hospital.n

Walworth County

-- JORGE A. LOPEZ MARTINEZ, 26, of 112 Ridgeway Court, Apt. 3, Elkhorn, at 10:47 p.m. Tuesday at his home on a charge of child neglect. He is accused of leaving his 5-year-old and a 3-year-old stepchildren home alone.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- BETH L. GENSKE, 25, of 127 W. Hidden Trail, Apt. 103, Elkhorn, after a traffic accident at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday on East First Street at Hanna Street, Elkhorn.


-- HIGHWAY 50 AT HIGHWAY 12, LAKE GENEVA. A van driven by Scott A. Freitag, 39, Hebron, Ill., was turning left onto the Highway 12 on-ramp when it collided with a pickup truck driven by David L. Vos, 55, of 617 Haskins St., Lake Geneva. A passenger in the van, Rachel K. Freitag, 4, was reportedly transported to a local hospital, but her condition is unknown. Scott Freitag was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way while making a left turn.

-- HIGHWAY 50 AT HIGHWAY 120, LAKE GENEVA. A car driven by Charles D. Englert, 37, of 442 Hartwell St., No. 6, Elkhorn, ran a red light and struck an oncoming pickup truck driven by Mark T. Heusser, 58, N7376 Burr Oak Road, Whitewater. The car then struck a sign in the median, went into and out of the ditch and struck a post in front of Walgreen’s. It was determined Englert had a seizure and blacked out, causing the accident. He was reportedly transported to a local hospital, but his condition is unknown.


-- NICOLE R. CARROLL, 23, of 140 W. School St., No. 120, Sharon, burglary, misdemeanor theft and trespassing. She is accused of several times entering and taking money and jewelry from a residence in Sharon in late February.

-- MARK S. RUSH, 50, McHenry, Ill., burglary, intimidation of a witness, threatening to cause bodily harm to a witness, threatening to damage property of a witness, misdemeanor battery and two counts of disorderly conduct. He is accused of breaking into a residence and threatening his girlfriend and her 15-year-old daughter and grabbing his girlfriend by the throat and throwing her against a wall March 3 in Bloomfield Township.

-- WILLIAM J. LARSON, 24, N964 Zenda Road, Lake Geneva, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and obstructing an officer after a traffic stop March 1 in Lake Geneva.

-- ANDREA S. MARTIN, 27, of 820 Parish Court, Apt. 6C, Delavan, physical abuse of a child and disorderly conduct. She is accused of grabbing a 13-year-old boy by the neck and pushing him against a countertop Dec. 17 in Delavan.

-- ROY BRADLEY, 51, of 205 S. Second St., Apt. C, Whitewater, felony bail jumping after a traffic stop Jan. 17 in Whitewater. He is accused of consuming alcohol, which is a violation of his bond.
