JANESVILLE State Assembly Speaker, Mike Sheridan, of Janesville describes his first visit with constituents, while riding a bus, as successful.
Sheridan rode three routes in Janesville Friday morning, talking with riders for about three hours. Topics included illegal drugs, education funding, and health care.
The riders seemed to like the idea of Sheridan coming to them, since many work during the day and would find it difficult to contact Sheridan in Madison.
Sheridan says he plans to do it again, and he'll let other legislators know about his experience.
