Rock County Clerk Lori Stottler tells WCLO's Stan Milam Show this April's election will be the first time the new Wisconsin Election Date Collection System is used.

Stottler says reporting units from all over the state, including the 86 in Rock county, will immediately send results to a central collection system. The state received a $2 million grant to set up the system. She says this will allow immediate results from anywhere in the state.

Besides faster statewide results, officials are hoping the system can become a model for the nation.
