Fort Atkinson coach annouces resignation
FORT ATKINSON Milton High’s Brian Hammil isn’t the only one stepping down in Badger Conference boys basketball.
While the Red Hawks’ head coach announced his resignation Wednesday, so did Todd Voss of the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks.
Voss resigned after a 1-20 season that included 20 straight losses and a 0-12 conference record in the Blackhawks’ first season back in the Badger after 11 years in the Southern Lakes.
Fort Atkinson’s season started with a 57-54 win over Jefferson and ended with a 73-56 WIAA regional tournament loss to the Eagles.
Voss succeeded Mike Hall in 2006-07 and was 12-51 in three seasons as head coach.
