WCLO's Steve Benton reports the spirit of the Beloit International Film Festival lives on with new Saturday night screenings

RSS

— Officials with the Beloit International Film Festival are keeping the spirit of BIFF alive with some special weekly screenings.

Executive Director, Rod Beaudoin, says they've decided to show some of the award winning films at selected venues on Saturday nights throughout the year.

The Pleasant Street Coffee House will begin by showing "Becoming Pony Boi" this Saturday night. Beaudoin says they're also talking with at least one Janesville location about doing the same thing.

In addition to showing some of this year's winners, they may also enlist the audience to screen possible candidates for next year's BIFF.
