-- WILLIAM B. SCHNUCK, 26, of 407 Lincoln St., Janesville, at 2:45 a.m. Sunday at Main Street and Centerway, Janesville, on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- ROBERT L. SYMPSON, 21, of 5818 S. Highway 51, Janesville, at 7:07 p.m. Monday in his home on a charge of substantial battery. Sympson is accused of getting into a fight, resulting in another man getting a broken nose.
-- LUCUS M. BEUDIN, 31, of 8407 N. County KK, Milton, at 3:50 p.m. Thursday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on charges of aggravated battery and disorderly conduct while armed. He is accused of punching and kicking another man.
-- ARSON reported at 12:53 a.m. Sunday at Hall Road and Six Corners Road, Whitewater. A vehicle was reportedly set on fire in a field. The vehicle’s owner didn’t know it was missing. The owner filed a stolen vehicle report.
-- EMERGENCY DETENTION reported at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Rock County Jail. A 21-year-old inmate was reportedly found lying on the floor with a bed sheet tied to his bunk and his neck. The bed sheet was removed. The inmate said he had anxiety and thought about harming himself on a regular basis. He said he tried to kill himself. He was placed on suicide watch.
-- ELECTRICAL PROBLEM at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Knute’s Bar & Grill, 206 E. Beloit St., Orfordville. Water that leaked into the electrical panel created sparks. Orfordville and Footville firefighters responded to the scene. Patrons and staff evacuated for two hours while an electrician corrected the problem. No damages or injuries were reported.
