— Assembly Speaker Mike Sheridan will have office hours aboard Janesville's bus system from 9:45 a.m. to noon Friday, March 20.

The "rolling listening session" is meant to give constituents a chance to speak face-to-face with Sheridan about their concerns and legislative ideas.

Janesville's Director of Neighborhood Services Jennifer Petruzzello will join Sheridan as he rides the 9:45 a.m. Kellogg Avenue route, which includes the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, Beloit and Kellogg Avenues, the Rock County Job Center, and the south side residential areas.

Petruzzello also will join Sheridan at 10:15 a.m. for a ride on the West Court Street route, which runs through the Look West neighborhood, the area around Mercy Hospital, and the residential areas in the city's northwest.

Janesville City Manager Eric Levitt will ride with Sheridan from 10:45 a.m. to noon on the Milton Avenue route, which covers the near east residential areas, the north side retail and commercial area, and the Kennedy Road industrial area.

Dave Mumma, Janesville's transit director, will be available for questions and comments throughout all three sessions.

No appointment is needed, but regular bus rates do apply.

Those unable to attend can call 1-888-947-0044 to talk with Sheridan or a member of his staff.
