A Rockford man faces time in federal prison following an investigation by Janesville Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
31-year-old Raymond E. Gray is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and possessing five grams or more of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. The federal indictment alleges the charges stem from an incident September 5, 2008. He faces a maximum of 10 years in federal prison for each gun charge, and 40 years on the drug charge.
