As the Janesville City Council prepares to vote Monday on the city's Comprehensive Plan, the State Secretary of Agriculture weighs in on the plan's farmland preservation.

Deputy Secretary Randy Romanski says it might sound like a cliche, but Rock County's farmland is really some of the best in the state.
