Fairbanks Flats now renting
Podcast Episode
BELOIT The Beloit Fairbanks Flats is accepting renters.
The historic property was recently renovated and turned into "rent to own" townhouses for low to moderate income families and the disabled.
The Flats were originally built as segregated housing for some of the first African American families brought to Beloit in 1917 to work in local factories.
Gary Gorman of Gorman & Company of Oregon, Wisconsin says he's planning a grand opening for this summer, but no date is set yet.
