UW-Rock men, women tabbed all-league

JANESVILLE — UW-Rock County’s Kaylyn Sherrod was named all conference by the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference and the Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association on Monday.

A Beloit Turner High School graduate, Sherrod was a two-year starter for the omen’s team, and led the Rattlers in scoring this season.

Meanwhile, Fred Stewart and Mario Selph were named to the men’s all-WCC and WJCAA teams. Steward, a Beloit native, graduated from the Walter Payton Academy in Chicago and Selph is a Delavan-Darien High School graduate.

WJCAA all-state academic recognition went to Keith Neuberger, a Janesville Parker graduate, and Kelsey Kersten, a Turner graduate.
