WCLO's Steve Benton reports on new Town of Beloit ordinance cracking down on never ending yard sales

After getting complaints about yard sales lasting all summer, the Beloit Town Board decides to change an ordinance.

Town residents will be allowed to hold two yard sales per year, and they're limited to selling items on the property that they already own. Town Administrator Bob Museus says the ordinance also helps police have access to pawn shop records and defines the difference between yard sales and flea markets.

The ordinance passed unanimously.
