Janesville police seek robbery suspect

Bank robbery suspect

Janesville Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at Mid America Bank, 2317 Milton Ave.

Police say an unidentified male suspect gave a teller a note demanding money. The suspect did not display a weapon and the teller was not hurt. The suspect received an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot heading north. Witnesses describe the suspect as white, in his mid-twenties to early thirties, about 5'11" with a thin build, dark hair and a dark goatee. He was wearing a long-sleeve blue shirt, blue jeans and a tan baseball cap with black lettering.
