The Town of Beloit Fire Department is investigating a blaze at 507 West Sunny Lane in Rock Township.
A Rock County Highway Shop worker reported smoke coming from the residence. Fire Captain Rich Tippelt was the first on the scene shortly after 10:00 o'clock Wednesday morning, and reported moderate smoke coming from the eaves on all four sides. Tippelt says no one was at home.
He says an electrical problem is being investigated as a possible cause.
