Big crowds expected for Janesville's Main Street entertainment
A sluggish economy may bring out bigger crowds to the City of Janesville's Main Street Entertainment series.
The first event kicks off Tuesday night at Lower Court House Park. City Recreation Supervisor Janet McLean says private sponsors are helping make the event possible, in light of an ever tightening budget.
She's also expecting bigger crowds for the seven shows, because the economy is forcing more families to stay close to home, and seek cheaper entertainment.
