Police responses to problems at tavern concern Beloit town officials

WCLO's Steve Benton reports on increased police responses to a tavern featuring adult entertainment.

BELOIT TOWNSHIP — The Beloit Town Board wants a meeting with the owner of a local tavern that features adult entertainment.

Town Administrator, Bob Museus, says police calls to the Bear Chest have increased recently and include calls of "shots fired."

The Town Board wants to try to work out the problems with the owner before resorting to tougher actions, including license revocation. Museus says a letter will go out soon seeking the meeting.
