Beloit Snappers come back to beat Timber Rattlers

GRAND CHUTE — The Beloit Snappers erased a 3-0 deficit with a six-run sixth inning and rolled to a 7-5 victory over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in Midwest League baseball on Monday.

The visiting Snappers sent 11 men to the plate in the sixth, pounding out seven hits, including a pair of doubles. Ramon Santana smacked a two-run double to highlight the inning.

Michael Tarsi (1-1) gained the victory in relief, allowing two runs on two hits in 13 innings. Joe Testa earned his fourth save retiring the Timber Rattlers’ final two batters in the ninth.
