— A Janesville woman drunkenly argued with her roommate, cut herself with a kitchen knife and injured a police officer during the fight Monday, according to police reports.

Police were called at 9:21 a.m. Monday to an apartment in the 2600 block of North Lexington Drive.

Crystal Bonanno, 27, Twin Lakes, and her roommate were fighting about Bonanno's drinking problem, police said. The argument became "heated," and when a friend tried to intervene, Bonanno began hitting her, the report said.

Bonanno then grabbed a kitchen knife and cut her throat, police said. When an officer arrived, she threatened him with the knife. And when another officer attempted to handcuff her, she grabbed his gential area and squeezed, police said.

Bonanno was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, misdemeanor battery, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, battery to a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer.
