Most Rock County high school students will soon have a chance to take vocational training intended to make them career ready upon graduation.

Stateline Career and Technical Education Academy Coordinator Susan Holtz says two classes will be ready for fall. They will offer students opportunities in the automotive and health care fields. Other areas of study planned for future development include construction, hospitality and culinary arts, welding, and pre-engineering.

The seven local school districts involved are Janesville, Beloit, Beloit Turner, Clinton, Evansville, Parkview, and South Beloit.
