Hernandez leads victory over Beloit Snappers

BELOIT — Franklin Hernandez was a one-man wrecking crew for the Kane County Cougars here Sunday afternoon.

Hernandez hit two homers and drove in five runs to lead the Cougars to an 11-4 Midwest League win over the Beloit Snappers in Midwest League baseball.

Beloit begins a four-game series at Peoria on Tuesday.
