Rollover crash in Beloit

— Beloit police arrested two people Thursday night following a high speed, roll-over accident along Riverside Park.

Police and paramedics responded to the one vehicle accident around 8:30 and found a car on its roof and the two occupants outside of the vehicle.

Arrested for operating while intoxicated, unreasonable and imprudent speed, suspended registration, and open intoxicants in a vehicle is 34 year old Deana Goodbear of Beloit. 25 year old Greg Trickie of Beloit is facing charges of obstructing and open intoxicants in a vehicle. Police Captain Bill Tyler says the vehicle was traveling at an estimated speed of 80 miles per hour when it hit a light pole, knocking it over.

Both Goodbear and Trickie were transported to Beloit Memorial Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
