The Rock County Fair's newly chosen royalty are old hands at 4H.

King Jordan Alf of Consolidated 4H is in his 13th and last year. He says being chosen king is a great way to cap off his career. The 19-year-old will be a sophomore this fall at UW-Platteville studying agri-business. The fair's new queen is 17-year-old Ann O'Leary, an 11 year veteran of the Evansville 4H Club. She says she always wanted to be chosen since she was a little girl, because her mother had also been a fair queen.

O'Leary will be a senior at Evansville High School, but plans to go on to study pediatrics.
