WCLO's Steve Benton reports a Milton couple don't quite make it to the hospital for the birth of one their children

RSS

— A Milton city council member and his wife find out not everyone always follows the script when giving birth to twins.

Brett and Jody Frazier planned a C-section for their 2nd and 3rd children, but one of the twins Jody was carrying had other plans.

Madeline was born in the back of their Trail Blazer at 1:17 am Monday at mile marker 145 in Dane County. Brother Jackson waited for another hour and 17 minutes and was born at St. Mary's hospital in Madison.

Brett says they called 911 and the State Patrol and an engine company with a paramedic responded.

Brett says Jody told him she can't believe she ended up being one of those women you hear about who had to deliver a child on the way to the hospital. Jody and the kids are doing fine.
