Intoxicated driving arrests

-- DANIEL J. KNOPES, 49, of 3124 Rockport Park Drive, Janesville, at 2:05 p.m. Sunday at Highway 51 south of Burbank Street, Janesville. It was reportedly his sixth offense. Also ticketed for operating while revoked.


-- DARYL D. ROSENBAUM, 58, of 2411 Delaware Drive, Janesville, at 3 a.m. Friday at Highway 51 south of Russell Road, Janesville Township. Also ticketed for operating left of center.


-- JACKIE L. HANSEN, 50, of 10499 N. Highway 51, Edgerton, at 10:53 a.m. Friday at Highway 51 and Goede Road, Fulton Township.


Arrests

-- A 31-YEAR-OLD Janesville man at 8 a.m. Monday on charges of burglary, second degree-sexual assault and a probation violation.


-- A 16-YEAR-OLD-MALE, at 12:56 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of West Racine Street for attempted robbery. The arrest is related to an incident earlier in the day when the boy allegedly attempted to take a 58-year-old woman's wallet near the Hedberg Public Library, 316 S. Main St., Janesville.


-- BONNIE M. SCHMIDT, 44, Beloit, at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Rock County Jail on charges of delivery of an article to an inmate and possession of prescription drugs without prescription. Correctional officers reportedly discovered prescription drugs in the jail. They were reportedly smuggled in and distributed to other inmates.


-- GIORGIO R. BEARD, 19, of 316 N. Academy St., Janesville, and SHEDRICK D. BALDWIN, 18, Beloit, at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Rock County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance in jail. Correctional officers reportedly smelled marijuana smoke and raided a jail unit. They reportedly found several burned papers, a bag of marijuana and other rolled papers with marijuana.

-- CARMEN A. MANCARI SKILLMAN, 17, of 2110 S. Chatham St., Janesville, charged with felony battery in connection with a June 20 incident in the 1500 block of LaSalle Court, Janesville.


Reported

-- SECOND-DEGREE SEXUAL ASSAULT reported at 3:47 p.m. Friday in Edgerton. A man reportedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl he knew.


-- BURGLARY, in the first block of North High Street, Janesville reported at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Taken were electronics valued at $825.


-- BURGLARY, in the 1200 block of Church Street, reported at 9 p.m. July 5. Taken were video games and video game systems valued at $749.
