Vikes’ Hewlett shines in All-Star game win

— Darius Feaster was the star of Saturday night’s 33rd annual WFCA North/South All-Star game, but Janesville Parker graduate LaVell Hewlett was the unsung hero.

Hewlett rushed for a game-high 78 yards and scored the game’s first touchdown on an 11-yard scamper to help the South Division 1-2-3 All-Stars to a 24-16 win over the North at Titan Stadium on Saturday night.

Feaster, out of Mequon Homestead, returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown with 22 seconds left to seal the victory.

Milton’s Ethan Bachinski caught one pass for 27 yards, and Janesville Craig’s JoJo Pregont hauled in one reception for five yards.

n South 14, North 7—Fennimore’s Ben Hertrampf raced 36 yards for a touchdown with 22 seconds to play to lift the South All-Stars.

Evansville’s Andrew Keister had one of the South’s two interceptions.
