Drunken driving arrests

-- BRIAN S. KNOBLE, 30, Muscoda, at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday at Austin Road and Mineral Point Avenue.


-- ROBERT N. SIMON, 74, of 104 West Ridge Road, Janesville, at 12:56 a.m. at highways 11 and 51. He also was charged with driving while his license was suspended.


Arrests

-- RAFAEL CARRERA FLORES, 36, of 187 N. Janesville St., Milton, at 8 p.m. Monday at the Rock County Sheriff's Office on a bench warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place and delivery of cocaine.


-- ANTHONY J. GARCIA, 33, of 2014 W. Memorial Drive, Janesville, at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Winnebago County Jail, Oshkosh, on a bench warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of drunken driving, hit and run, obstructing and disorderly conduct.


Accidents

-- EAST MILWAUKEE AND GARFIELD STREETS, Janesville, at 1:49 p.m. Monday. A vehicle driven by Justin C. Gilson, 22, of 662 S. Ringold St., Janesville, was westbound on Milwaukee Street. Another vehicle driven by Julie A. William, 54, of 2010 E. Wood Ave., Janesville, was northbound on Garfield and stopped at the stop sign at Milwaukee Street. When she entered the intersection, the two vehicles collided. William was cited for rule at intersection with through highway. Gilson and a passenger in his vehicle were cited for seatbelt violations. The third occupant in Gilson's vehicle, Jeremya L. Kenyon, 19, of 640 Wright Road, Janesville, was treated at an area hospital.


Fire calls

-- TRASH FIRE at 11:27 p.m. Monday at the curb of 2222 Meadowlark Drive, Janesville. Firefighters found two bags of trash burning, which melted and charred the nearby mailbox post resulting in $50 damage. In the remains of trash they also found a small pile of cigarette butts, which are believed to have started the fire.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- DANIEL R. BENYAK, 56, Seattle, at 2:25 a.m. Thursday on Broad Street at Main Street, Lake Geneva. He also was cited for failure to follow an indicated turn.


-- EDWARD T. HUBERTY, 19, Sheboygan, at 1:10 a.m. July 7, on Sheridan Springs Road at Allendale Avenue, Lake Geneva. He also was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at a stop sign.
