A Beloit business could have its alcohol license revoked after allegations it sold alcohol to underage customers.
Beloit City Council President Jim Van De Bogart says the council is holding a special meeting Thursday to determine the status of Liberty Quick N Save's license. The Alcohol Beverage License Control Committee recommends suspending the license for 30 days. Van De Bogart says there was a citation issued and a conviction within the last year, so this is a second offense.
The store owners and attorneys are scheduled to appear at a hearing at the special meeting.
