Intoxicated driving arrests

-- CARLOS A. PERES, 46, of 1772 Pine St., Beloit, at 9:23 p.m. Saturday at South County Highway G and Townline Road, Rock Township.


Arrests

-- PAMELA CLARK, 26, of 2611 Harvard Drive, Janesville, at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.


Reported

-- BURGLARY reported at 11 a.m. July 4 at a home in the 2900 block of South Caroline Street, Janesville. A red and black Toro lawn mower valued at $400 was reported stolen from a shed.


Accidents

-- STATE HIGHWAY 59 AND NORTH CLEAR LAKE ROAD, at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, a car driven by Scott M. Krucz, 39, of 713 Cambridge Drive, Schaumburg, Ill., struck a semi truck driven by Samuel Bentzen, 49, of 1208 Lauderdale, La Crosse. Krucz crossed the center lane, striking the trailer near its rear wheels. Bentzenís semi jackknifed and came to a rest off the road. Krucz was cited for drunken driving and operating left of center. He was treated at University Hospital, Madison and was in good condition Monday. It was reported as his fourth drunken-driving arrest.


Fire calls

-- SHED FIRE at 8:19 a.m. Monday at 2313 Palmer Drive, Janesville. Renters extinguished the fire that was still smoldering when Janesville firefighters arrived on scene. Ashes from a burning fire pit, dumped a couple days ago and right next to this 6-by-8-foot wood structure, started the fire, said a Janesville Fire Department spokesman. Damage was listed at $1,500.
