— Tom Klawitter helped the Janesville Aces snap a 12-game losing streak Sunday afternoon.

Klawitter fired a complete-game one-hitter to lead Janesville’s semi-pro baseball team to a 9-2 win over Oshkosh in Wisconsin State League play.

Oshkosh came back to win the second game, 2-0.

Janesville (4-14) banged out 17 hits in game one to give Klawitter plenty of support. Klawitter struck out eight and was aided by three Janesville first-inning runs.

The Aces managed only two hits in losing the second game. Pete Loizzo suffered the loss despite pitching a complete-game three-hitter.
