The House of Mercy in Janesville is incorporating more outreach into its mission.
Director Ron DelCiello says more is being done with job placement services. The effort is being funded in large part by the recent Charity Ball. DelCiello says $180,000 was raised and will literally keep the doors open this year. He says the need is growing, and will likely increase for the foreseeable future.
The House of Mercy is a 25-bed homeless center providing families with short-term emergency shelter.
