— A Williams Bay man has been charged with sexual assault more than three years after prosecutors say he had sex with two children, then ages 12 and 15.

Keith A. Bowers, 34, faces charges of sexual assault of a child under 13 as a repeater, child enticement as a repeater, sexual assault of a child under 16 and repeated sexual assault of a child as a repeater.

According to the criminal complaint, a 12-year-old girl told police in August 2005 she was spending the night at a friend’s house in Fontana when Bowers woke her, took her to another room and had sex with her. She also told police in November 2006 she ran away from home, stayed with Bowers in Walworth Township and had sex with him in May 2006, according to the complaint.

In a separate incident, a 15-year-old boy told police in June 2006 he had sex with Bowers about 10 times in the fall of 2005 in Delavan Township, according to the complaint.

Bowers faces more than 165 years in prison and up to $300,000 in fines if convicted.
