Milton, Lakeside, Albany girls win
Milton High’s girls basketball team led all the way Thursday night in a 54-45 nonconference win over visiting Wimot (1-11).
Marie McNall got nine of her 17 points in the first half to spark the Red Hawks (4-9) to a 26-10 lead. Amber Davis finished job for Milton with nine of her game-high 17 points in the second half.
After recently returning a season-long injury, 6-2 sophomore got her most extensive action and scored 11 points for the Red Hawks. Brianna John led Wilmot with 14.

Capitol North
Lakeside Lutheran High School’s girls basketball team remained one game behind top-ranked Columbus in the Capitol North with a 49-28 win Thursday night over visiting Lake Mills.
Alyssa Allister scored 17 points and Chelsea Finger added 10 as the Warriors improved to 11-3 overall and 6-1 in the Capitol.
Bailey Halvorson scored 15 points to lead the L-Cats (10-4, 3-3).

Six Rivers East
It was a Peach of a night for Albany High’s girls basketball team.
Hayli Peach led the way with 16 points as the Comets improved to 5-3 in the Six Rivers East anmd 9-7 overall with a 50-41 win at Monticello.
Albany overcame a 12-10 deficit in a 16-5 second quarter and led the rest of the way.
Sarah Silver scored 14 points for Monticello (4-8, 2-4), and Sydney Bump had 10 for Albany.
