Summer flood disaster lingers in Rock County
Many Rock County residents are still looking for help in bailing out from last summers flooding.
United Way of North Rock County President Gail Graham tells WCLO's Stan Milam Show her agency is still seeing people come in with applications for assistance. Graham says some residents still haven't been able to return to their homes. The United Way is still collecting money to help local flood victims. $49,000 has been raised through the sale of a documentary DVD, and the South Central Wisconsin Home Builders Association has secured $50,000 in grants from its national organization.
The United Way is taking applications for relief through Friday.
