WCLO's Steve Benton takes a look at Beloit's second Friday student numbers

BELOIT — As Janesville school officials try to deal with the loss of over 170 students between the start of the school year and January 9th, Beloit has apparently dodged a bullet.

Administrator of Business Services, Cathy Mark, says Beloit had a loss of just 22 students.

She says this change should not be a problem when it comes to budgeting, since they build a change of plus or minus 100 students into their annual spending plan.

Mark says Beloit's student numbers have been up and down over the last couple of years, but projections show a steady.. or growing student population.
