Fury split pair with Green Bay

The Rock County Fury saved the best for last in gaining a split with Green Bay U19 in girls high school hockey Saturday.
After falling 6-2 to Green Bay at the Janesville Ice Skating Center on Saturday morning, the Fury pulled out a 7-5 victory in Beloit, scoring three straight goals in the third period for a come-from-behind victory Saturday night.
Green Bay overtook Rock County’s 4-2 lead after two periods, scoring three straight goals in the third period for 5-4 lead.
The Fury roared back with goals from Alex Oines, Chelsea Pomeroy and Haley Bayreuther in the space of two mintues for the victory.
Maci Weiser, Megan Lindgren and Loghan Hallett gave the Fury a 3-1 first-period lead. Jacqueline Benish put Rock County ahead 4-1 in the second period.
Fury goaltender Caitlyn Gusk made 42 saves.

Nice job girls, bouncing back after the morning game to get a split. Come and watch the girls play Saturday before the boys game at Janesville.3pm I think is game time.
