Milton High sizzled the nets and torched Fort Atkinson in Wednesday night’s Badger South boys basketball action.

The second-place Red Hawks, who scored 51 first-half points, hit 29 of 51 field-goal attempts for 57 percent to nearly double up the Blackhawks, 74-38.

Mason Walters scored a game-high 26 points for Milton (5-4, 4-1), including 22 in the first half. Brandon Knudtson added 19 points and Mitchell Trewyn had 10.

Nobody for Fort Atkinson (1-9, 0-5) reached double figures.
