Rock County Sheriff discusses priorities with State Assembly Speaker

The Rock County Sheriff is discussing priorities with Assembly Speaker Mike Sheridan of Janesville.

Spoden says Sheridan has definite ideas of both how to move the state forward, and how to reduce substance abuse and keep drunk drivers off Wisconsin roads. Spoden says he and Sheridan are very in tune with each other in regards to alternatives to incarceration. He says when it comes to budget negotiations, decisions the state makes will trickle down to the couny level. The key is, he says, to maintain security and public safety in the most cost-effective way possible.
