-- BURGLARY reported at 7:52 a.m. Monday to a home in the 14400 block of West Highway 81, Brodhead. Reported stolen were a tool and cash valued at $350.

-- JEFFERY M. BERG, 41, South Beloit, Ill., at 2:12 p.m. Saturday at Highway 213 north of Ahara Road, Magnolia Township.
Accidents
-- COURT STREET AND AUSTIN ROAD, Janesville Township, at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday, a car driven by Heather M. Wegner, 16, of 5907 W. Mineral Point Road, Janesville, collided with a minivan driven by Patti A. Christianson, 48, of 7003 N. Fox Road, Janesville. Wegner was ticketed for failing to yield at a stop sign. Wegner remains in Mercy Hospital in good condition. Christianson and her passenger, Gordon A. Christianson, 48, of 7003 N. Fox Road, Janesville, were treated at Mercy Hospital and released.

Intoxicated driving arrests
-- AMANDA M. HILGEN, 24, of 6062 Haskins St., Lake Geneva, at 2:03 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of KFC, 171 N. Wells St., Lake Geneva. It was reported as her second arrest on a drunken-driving charge. Hilgen also was cited for operating after revocation.
-- KENNETH H. DIETZ, 51, Menomonee Falls, and STEWART A. STANELLE, 53, Horicon, at 10:19 p.m. Friday after a traffic accident in the 700 block of Sheridan Springs Road, Lake Geneva. It was reported as Dietz’s fourth and Stanelle’s second arrest on a drunken-driving charge. Stanelle also was cited for operating after revocation.
-- VINCENT R. CALLAHAN, 20, of 832 Badger Lane, Lake Geneva, at 12:37 a.m. Jan. 14, after he fled the scene of a fight in the 900 block of Badger Lane, Lake Geneva. He also was cited for disorderly conduct. Because he was in violation of his bond, he was jailed.
-- YOLANDA DE LA PAZ, 41, N1113 Spruce Road, Pell Lake, at 2:42 a.m. Jan. 12, at South and Wells streets, Lake Geneva. She also was cited for failure to dim headlights.

-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 1100 block of Dodge Street, Lake Geneva, reported Jan. 15. The victim reported the suspect gained entry, took his two dogs and fled the scene. Police later located the suspect. James E. Merritt, 37, of 1342 Elkhorn Road, Lake Geneva, was cited for trespassing, and because he has joint ownership of the dogs, he was not cited for theft.

-- BRYAN A. BROOKS, 28, Island Lake, Ill., two counts of identity theft as a repeater and two counts of obstructing an officer as a repeater. He is accused of providing police with a false name during traffic stops Dec. 19 in Lafayette Township and Jan. 4 in Whitewater.
-- SHARILYN R. CHIRONIS, 56, of 1729 Miller Court, Lake Geneva, possession of narcotic drugs after she ran off the road and police found Morphine and Xanax in her car Jan. 12 in Lafayette Township.
-- TRACY G. STEPPER, 38, of 4583 Cobblestone Road, Delavan, fifth-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated after a traffic stop Jan. 13 in Delavan Township.
-- MICHAEL P. CANTY, 47, N2101 S. County O, Delavan, repeated sexual assault of a child. He is accused of inappropriately touching a 16-year-old girl several times in Lake Geneva from April to October.
-- NORMAN J. EBERT, 45, West Dundee, Ill., attempted strangulation and suffocation, misdemeanor battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. He is accused of ripping clothing off his girlfriend, attempting to choke her and breaking items in a Lake Geneva motel room Dec. 31.
-- MIGUEL A. LOPEZ, 34, of 622 N. Patricia St., No. 103, Elkhorn, strangulation and suffocation, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct. He is accused of kicking and choking a woman in Elkhorn on Dec. 26.
-- MARY T. LEFAIVE, 31, W9665 Highway 11/14, Darien, burglary as a repeater and misdemeanor theft as a repeater. She is accused of breaking into a Delavan apartment and taking a digital camera Oct. 2.
-- DAVID A. BECK JR., 18, W3968 Spring Brook Road, Lake Geneva, interference with fire alarm and criminal damage to property. He is accused of damaging the sprinkler in his cell at the Walworth County Jail on Dec. 24.
-- JAVIER A. ESPINOSA, 24, of 224 Westward Drive, Elkhorn, failure to respond to written requests for Sex Offender Registry information and failure to notify the Sex Offender Registry of changes in information.
-- ADAM W. GOMEZ, 23, W196 Nippersink Road, No. 8, Genoa City, strangulation and suffocation and misdemeanor battery. He is accused of choking his ex-girlfriend Nov. 15 in Bloomfield Township.
