Jack Slovick scored 20 points, all in the first three periods, to lead Williams Bay to a 72-49 victory over visiting Johnson Creek in Trailways South boys basketball Tuesday night.

It was Williams Bay's fifth straight conference win and moved the two-time defending champion Bulldogs (5-4, 5-1) within a half-game of first-place Fall River (5-0).

Slovick helped Williams Bay to a 58-35 advantage going into the final quarter.

Ben Miller and Aaron Rogers each added 11 for Williams Bay. Ten players scored for the Bulldogs.
