Rattlers lose lead late

FOND DU LAC — UW-Rock County faded in the second half en route to a 44-43 loss to UW-Fond du Lac in Wisconsin Collegiate Conference women’s basketball here Monday.

The Rattlers led until the last two minutes. UW-Rock missed a shot to win the game and fells to 6-8 overall.

Kaylyn Sherrod scored 14 points to lead UW-Rock.

UW-Rock hosts undefeated UW-Waukesha at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
