There’s no stopping Orfordville Parkview High School’s girls basketball team these days.
The Vikings, No. 8 in the AP Division 3 state ratings, tuned up for key test Thursday at McFarland by crushing Turner, 80-32, in a Rock Valley South makeup game Monday night at Beloit.
In rolling past the winless Trojans (0-10, 0-8), the Vikings pushed their South Division record to 9-0 and improved to 12-1 overall.
Melissa Harnack and Jenna Larsen scored eight points apiece in the first half to lead Parkview to a 37-20 lead.
Larsen finished with a game-high 23 points. Harnack added 15, while Jasmine Koch and April Wellnitz scored 11 points apiece for the Vikings.

n Clinton 54, Palmyra Eagle 32—Maggie Schultz scored nine of her 12 points in the first quarter to help propel the Cougars (5-5, 4-4) past the Panthers (3-9, 2-6) in a Rock Valley South makeup game.
Clinton built a 23-13 first-quarter advantage and was in control the rest of the way.
Clinton’s Liz Althoff scored a game-high 20 points, and teammate Olivia Nickel added 10. Liz Madecky led the Panthers with 13.

n Edgerton 45, East Troy 36—Meggie Schmidt topped off a 21-point night by making seven of eight free throws in the fourth quarter to lock up Edgerton’s Rock Valley North victory over visiting East Troy.
The Crimson Tide (5-7, 4-4) used a 14-4 advantage in the third quarter to build a 32-20 lead, and Schmidt scored 11 of her team’s final 13 points.
Brooke Lambrechts had 15 points for the Trojans (1-11, 1-7).

Delavan-Darien High School’s girls basketball team rolled to 11-1 for the season with a 54-21 nonconference victory Monday night at Evansville.
Courtney Flood had 16 point to pace the Comets, who had 11 scorers and played without 6-2 sophomore Alana Cesarz. Callie Reese had 11 points for the Blue Devils (1-9).

Laura Atkinson scored 18 of her season-high 27 points in the first half for Oregon (11-3). Teammate Kayla Crowley added 12 points. Ashlyn Anderson scored 18 for the Elks (5-6).
