Bryan Gregory dropped 34 points on Orfordville Parkview on Tuesday night, leading Edgerton High to a 57-40 victory in Rock Valley Conference boys basketball.

The Edgerton senior scored 10 points in the first quarter and 15 in the fourth quarter to lead the Crimson Tide (8-1, 4-1), which moved within one game of first-place East Troy (5-0) in the North Division.

Gregory hit 11 of 15 fouth-quarter free throws. Teammate Brek Perry added nine points on 9-of-10 free-throw shooting.

Nick Melton led Parkview (4-6, 2-4) with 17 points. Alex Mumm added 12.

n McFarland 60, Turner 54—Lucas Schmitz scored a game-high 20 points, and the Spartans (6-3, 4-2) held on down the stretch to beat the visiting Trojans (4-7, 2-5) in a Rock Valley crossover game.

Trailing 44-35 after three quarters, Turner got within 52-50 on Aaron Jones’ three-pointer. McFarland then pulled away in the closing minutes.

Aaron Dixon backed up Schmitz with 11 points. Jones led Turner with 16 points, and Tevien Pinckney added 11.

n Jefferson 81, Palmyra-Eagle 35—Tyler Tomczak led the way with 20 points as the Eagles (4-5, 3-4) ripped the Panthers (2-7, 0-6) in a Rock Valley crossover game.

Trevor Probst added 16 points, and Brandon Bare had 11 for Jefferson. Probst and Tomczak each scored 14 first-half points and each had eight points in the second quarter as Jefferson built a 47-20 halftime lead. Thirteen Eagles scored.

B.J. Peardon led Palmyra-Eagle with eight points.
