WCLO's Steve Benton reports on an AirFest meeting for volunteers

RSS

— Volunteers are needed for the Southern Wisconsin Airfest.

Event originator and organizer, Tom Morgan, invites anyone interested in working prior to, and during Air-Fest, to come to a meeting at the airport terminal building Wednesday night.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and about 100 people are expected. Morgan says they'll be looking for people, who have volunteered in the past, to take on "team leadership" positions. They're also looking for people with special talents to take on critical roles, including security and finances.

Morgan says this will be the first of at least three volunteer meetings prior to Air-Fest, which is scheduled for May 29th-31st.
