The Janesville City Council will hear Forward Janesville's legislative priorities Monday night.

Forward Janesville President John Beckord says they've narrowed the topics down to a few items important in the decision making process. He says the issues include tax credit status and transportation improvement projects. Beckord says the expansion of Interstate 90 to six lanes should be a priority for the state legislature. He says the interstate expansion in Illinois creates a bottleneck once the traffic comes into Wisconsin.

After the city council approves the legislative priorities, Forward Janesville will meet with legislators to discuss the projects.
