Waterford High School used a strong first half to roll past Lake Geneva Badger, 65-58, in Southern Lakes boys basketball Friday.
With the victory, Waterford tied idle Elkhorn for the conference lead at 3-0.
The Wolverines held a 33-21 lead at the half and were not threatened the rest of the way.
Brent Plantz had 13 points to lead Waterford, and Jacob Sundberg added 11.
Braden Tice had 15 points on five three-point baskets to lead Badger, while Alex Gaugert added 12. Badger (3-6, 1-3) made 10 three-point goals.
