Second-ranked Mukwonago tough at Milton
Mukwonago High showed why it’s the No. 2 team in the Associated Press Division 1 girls basketball poll.
The Indians (10-0) got a game-high 15 points from Brianne Radowicz en route to a 68-32 victory over the Red Hawks (1-6) in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Milton.
The Red Hawks stayed close for one quarter before the Indians blew things open with a 41-11 run during the middle two periods.
Shannon Perez backed up Radowicz with 15 points. Perez scored eight during the Indians’ 23-4 third-quarter surge. Radowicz hit two three-pointers during the run and Kristine Fehly scored all seven of her points in the quarter.
Liz Eide led Milton with six points.

Jamie Armstrong scored eight of her game-high 16 points to lead the Cheesemakers’ (9-0) first-quarter blitz.

n Deerfield 52, Williams Bay 22—The Demons (5-5, 3-1) gained a 14-4 advantage in the third quarter to take a 38-19 lead en route to a Trailways South victory.
Callie Dahl scored six of her eight points in the third quarter to pace Deerfield. Neither team had a player scored in double figures.
Williams Bay fell to 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

n Albany 56, Pecatonica 49—Hayli Peach scored 22 points, drilled four three-pointers and hit five of six fourth-quarter free throws as Albany (6-5, 3-2) scored a Six Rivere East victory over visiting Pecatonica (6-3, 2-2).
The Comets, who led 33-15 at the half, also got 15 points from Sydney Bump and 10 from Nicolette Blumer.
Kim Chandler led Pecatonica, which was within 38-35 after three quarters, with 17 points. Brittany Kent added 13.
