Beloit women defeat St. Norbert

— Beloit College used a strong second half to defeat St. Norbert, 65-52, in Midwest Conference women’s basketball here Tuesday.

The Bucs led 31-28 at the half and gained a 34-24 second half advantage to seal the victory.

Beloit made 14 of 24 (58 percent) shots in the second half, while the Green Knights made just 8 of 29 (27 percent) second-half field goal attempts.

Mary Parker paced Beloit (6-4, 2-1) with 22 points and Sarah Stariha added 11 points.
